Nobody else was winning that primary but him.

Simply put, she ran into a more "likable" candidate.

It's hard to find a less "likable" candidate than Hillary.

Nixon's election was arguably the last time the less "likable" candidate won the office. I argue, it's a much bigger hurdle than a lot of people realize, and I'm with the guy who would prefer her to the current occupant.

She ran into a machine that was absolutely dedicated to getting that gentleman elected. Nothing was going to stand in his way. And I am saying that as someone who would not have voted for either one of them.
