Damned good songwriter. He has peaked but that Is natural.
"Mom rock" is accurate. My mom loves him.
Anyone who let's politics dictate their music is a douche. YES he is liberal. Everyone is when they are young or you have no soul. But who gives a frick about when you pick music.
I think Hank Jr. Is a redneck moron. But he is old. When I am in a Bocephus mood. I will listen to him and not give 2 shits about his politics. Ted Nugent is another story. Stranglehold and Cat Scratch Fever do not a catalog make. Him being crazy right wing guy only ads to his nuisance.
Had his show been at Toyota Center and not woodlands I would have taken my mom.
