yep its a personal responsibility thing not a religious thing or what you feel is right thing, Someone does not have to live a certain way because you feel its wrong. Finally is it your baby or your body, nope so shut the f up and another reason why the GOP blows, just another way to alienate and polarize women LOL

Not sure what point you were trying to make, or whether or not you agreed with mine, but, I have stated my stance before in another thread. I am not Pro Choice or Pro Life, I am Pro Reason. If the pregnancy will most likely kill the mother(i.e. tubular or something of that nature), is a result of rape or incest(as this can cause serious health problems to the child), I concede that abortion is a viable option. However, because someone didn't want to be tied down by a birth control regiment, or just has poor decision making skills, abortion should not be an option.

Also, this is not a bad starting point:
quote:

A proposal I'm for, but will never happen is:

A woman gets one "freebie" abortion if it was a willing pregnancy, meaning the woman freely engaged in sex and wasn't forced.

If she gets pregnant a second time, she can either have the child or have an abortion, but if she chooses abortion then that's it, she is fixed for life.

I think we should add to that though. In the realm of women on government assistance who choose to keep having children, after two births they should be fixed. Before everyone attacks me for this stance, know that my own sister has four kids by at least two different men, is on governmet assistance, and indeed the births of all four children were done through government assistance hospitals and programs. The "father" of the last two kids is a guy who smoked himself into a retard years ago. I had even said to family members after the birth of her second child that my sister should have been fixed then, because she has no decision making skills. She still lives with our parents with all four of her children, and she's nearly 30. Up until recently, her POS "man" was even living under my parents roof, neither he nor my sister holding down a job, or trying to get one.
