I love looking at the Class C bracket.

Only 16 teams made the Class C tournament this year...everyone gets a 1st round bye.

Your 16 seed is the Pleasant Hill Eagles. The Eagles just squeaked into the 16-seed with a bubble-like record of 1-14. They were outscored 223-46 this season (an average score of 15-3 each game).

The folks in Epps and Sicily Island must be outraged. Epps was 3-17 and Sicily Island was 3-13, but both were left out because they fell short in the power rankings by tenths of a point.

Best of luck to the Cinderella Eagles and they take on top-seeded powerhouse Northside Christian in the 2nd round later this week.

As a Pleasant Hill graduate and former Eagles baseball player, it's a real shame

Funny story: in 2005 (I think) we made the playoffs with no wins at all, and beat Elizabeth, the 4th seed, in the first round. We thought we were hot stuff until Linfield beat us 17-0 the next round. But hey, state quarterfinalists!
