yeah, but it's a quality OOC game. They don't have to be world beaters. FFS, Wake Forest counts.

Still, I dunno, it's a slippery slope because if you give BYU an exception, then Navy or someone may want one too. I'd probably tell them no unless they agree to an annual game vs an SEC opponent of our choice every year going forward. We could basically use them for filler when a contract breaks or something. I actually don't think they'd mind that as they are struggling for good games.

I would guess BYU would agree to neutral site game every year in either Atlanta, Dallas, or Houston against any SEC team. They probably would agree to play a couple SEC school's per year. The key move the SEC should make is to lock in a pack of ACC school's to get rotated through sec teams. AT a minimum that group should include UNC, NC state, UVA, Virginia TECh and Miami. IF you give Vanderbilt either duke or Wake every year than you up to 10 SEC school's getting a quality game with an ACC school. For the final 4 sec school's, byu could work for a spot or 2 than you got options with BC or syracuse from the ACC or big 12. With the big 10 and pac 10 going to 9 games, it might be hard to get them to
schedule SEC games.

if you give a mouse a cookie?

but seriously though, Navy is joining the American in 2015 so they aren't going to want an exception like that. I wouldn't be shocked o see Army join a conference again here pretty soon as well. That would leave just ND and BYU.

Navy is joining the AAC.

BYU, ND, and Army will be the only remaining independents.

Alabama owes them a road game under a previous AD. I'm assuming it was bought out. Alabama played them in Tuscaloosa in 1998.
