I have a theory that the hard core left wouldn't move to DFW from California for anything. I really hope it proves true.

Cause then they would have to admit they lived in TEXAS! And not even in Austin.....

The post that I was responding to said that the Toyota people would stay here in California and that the non-city people are the ones moving to Texas. I responded that he can keep them.

There's a reason why your state is hostile to business. California hates economic freedom like you would see with hatred towards a murderer. Their legislation reflects that. California needs to turn that around if they don't want the dam to break open completely.

Yeah, I agree with you, although we're mostly hostile to "dirty" industry (oil jobs, chemical, etc) and not these types of jobs. Wrong either way and we're paying for it.

California is number 49 in economic freedom. Only New York can call itself worse at number 50.

I'm pretty surprised they were ranked ahead of NY

Yet the top two states where I would want to live are CA and NY. Texas is at the top of the "south", but the south in general is at the bottom.

I have found that outside LA and the Bay Area, the rest of California is mostly conservative.

This is is vague as hell.

I would love to move to California but unlike you, I don't put up with big gov't shite that restricts economic freedom, personal freedom, property rights, and taxes the shite out of everything. California ranks poorly in all of those areas.

I'm not questioning where CA stands in terms of economic freedom.

I'm questioning your asinine statement comparing CA's attitude toward economics with murder. Completely idiotic on your part.
