This!! I am in my thirties and grew up watching mj, and I used to dislike LeBron. But mj is a shitty shitty person. I'm convinced his dad was killed over his gambling debts, he is abusive, just all around complete piece of shite and he gets away with it because he is great at basketball and he speaks well.
On the other hand LeBron is a good person, great player, yet he is hatred. Get past the nostalgia and really look at mj, compared to mj LeBron is a damn saint.

he also gets away with it b/c he came up in a completely different era of sports media and his mythology was already created by the time new media emerged. MJ would not be MJ (i mean in terms of marketing and such; nothing to do with play) if he came up in the 00s
