Oh ok. Well can you let us know what are some Fantasy genre book series that are better? They must be really popular and amazing so I'm sure some people may like to read them.

And I didn't start reading because of the show. I read AGOT in 1999.

As for your rant on GRRM finishing the series, I agree. He needs to hurry if he wants to finish before the books. I was only pointing out that the show does not have to pass the books or reveal anything not in the books yet if they don't have a want to finish it before GRRM finishes the novels. He has given them plenty of source material so they shouldn't be anywhere close to revealing anything imo

And I agree about him selling the rights to it before it was finished. Yet still I would be really pissed if I started something that became this popular and is essentially my life's work only to have someone else beat me to the end and reveal the endgame for something I had worked on for so long.

But then again maybe GRRM doesn't care if it does. Or maybe he agreed to let D&D do the series with the thought that they wouldn't be trying so hard to pass him? Idk
