How would you characterize Bundy's comments about Black folks?

Irwin Schiff is sitting in prison as protest against the income tax.

Didn't Pete Rose and Wesley Snipes also go to prison for tax evasion?

It doesn't demean them at all. Get a grip.

Cliven Bundy is your hero. You claimed him as one of yours, so now he's yours. You own him. Sean Hannity owns him. While sane people were telling you he's a right wing loon you wouldn't listen.
I figured out early this guy was a loon; he's no hero of mine.

My point, dumbass, was that Bundy's position regarding the BLM comes from nothing more than right wing feel-entitled lunacy, not that you have to agree with everything that comes from his mouth. You defended his lunacy. We warned you. He's yours.
Wrong again, Rexy, i never defended him. You are just unable to separate issues and always have this your team/ other team mentality , but I'm the dumbass

Insenstive/poorly worded. He's 70. As I mentioned if he didn't care about black people he wouldn't mention them being aborted or winding up in prison as being a bad thing.

I work with a guy that has said the very same thing to me that Bundy said. He told me one night that the worst thing that ever happened to the black family unit was the end of slavery. He said now, blacks mostly have no concept of family unity, work ethic, religious beliefs, or pride in what they do.
I was floored when he said that especially because he's black himself.

I love it when people start parsing comments in threads like these - to somehow eek out a way so the "negro/cotton picking/better off as slaves" comments were NOT racist after all.

so Rex is a Nazi because of Soros' past

How can it be insensitive, poorly worded, yet caring at the same time.

I'm pretty sure everyone here agrees that that part of the statement was racist. I think what some are arguing is that the overall gyst of the statement, that poor blacks on welfare are no more free now than when they were slaves, is a legitimate thought exercise worth exploring. It is a popular opinion on this board that the welfare state uses entitlement programs unintentionally to trap populations in a self-perpetuating cycle of poverty. Between the benefits one can receive via welfare, housing assistance, food stamps, tax credits, disabilities insurance, unemployment insurance, ect life being poor is not easy, but it's relatively comfortable. However, any attempts to better one's situation via getting a job and working hard to get promoted means that those benefits are cut off nearly completely. The safety net becomes a hammock as many citizens can make much more money receiving these benefits than they could get by working full time jobs (for which they lack the skills). It's simply easier to not work, they're rewarded and subsidized for the behaviors that keep them impoverished so they continue to behave in that fashion.
That is a legitimate argument with some merit buried inside of that racist statement. This is a clear "forest for the trees" moment, where people are so focused on the racism that they miss the larger point that is at least worthy of some discussion.

isnt that what we hear about Biden and his gaffes?

I am sure most the extreme right wing kooks who defended him are embarrassed by the racist comments. He has done for harm to this political leanings.
