My previous stance was NetFlix > Amazon based mostly on superior interface if you had to choose. This clearly puts Amazon over the top. I really wish they'd clean up their interface.

i hate amazon's interface typically, but it's great on my ps3

I have it on the PS3 too and it's far from great. NetFlix's interface is just much more polished. Watching a TV series for example, NetFlix will automatically launch you into the next episode while the credits are running, on Amazon I have to stop the video (or watch all the credits), return to the season screen and manually choose to start the next episode. Finding TV shows in the main interface is also a little clunky because they list each season of a show separately.

The main interface itself needs a lot of help because
1) the categorization is lacking, you have to go multiple levels deep to choose genres, of which you can only see one genre at a time, while NetFlix's main interface is primarily genre based, is easy to skip between genres and you can see multiple genres on the screen at the same time.
2) Amazon clutters up the one category at a time they let you see with the previously mentioned multiple seasons of the same show.

It really wouldn't take that much to fix Amazon's interface, but NetFlix is definitely much easier to use and find things to watch.
