yeah, but he played really well his last contract year, too. he didn't play overly well when he was here (though I wasn't as harsh on him as others). he wouldn't be a bad fit with the current team, though. he has the players around him that he needed previously.

And that would be correct...

He was a good supporting player for West and CP3, as a third/fourth option.

Making him a primary option along with Oak? Not so much.


Let Holiday and Davis be the primary options, have Evans at the 2, and let Ariza stay near the arc to take the outlet 3.

You can inflate a lot of numbers with contract year effort, but I don't think 3 point percentage is one of them. That being said, I think Ariza has played well enough that the Wizards will probably try and keep him. Right now they are looking like they'll make it to the 2nd round and the way Indy is playing, they could possibly get to the conference finals.
