St. Louis Rams, what to do in the draft?

If Clowney falls #2 the Rams don't need him because they have Quinn (19 sacks last year) and Long (9 sacks last year) and both had double digit sacks the year before.
The Rams obviously want to trade but what is an area of need for the team?
Bradford played well prior to his injury last year
They drafted 2 receivers last year early
Their RB picked up the slack near the end of the year
The defense ranked 13th last year and if Bradford remains healthy, Stacy/Richardson continues to progress, and their young receivers step up the offense should move up from 21st.
So if they stay at #2 who do you believe they select? An offensive lineman to shore that up would be my guess

Mack or Watkins if they don't get a trade

The LB core is pretty solid already with Laurganitas, and Ogletree in the fold, would they really reach out for a WR after taking Austin and Bailey last year?

QB. Bradford ain't the guy. Then maybe a WR.
If they stay at 2, OL. QB and WR can wait.

Either Greg Robinson or Sammy Watkins.

Trade their picks for Jimmy G.

My golf buddy is a huge Rams fan and won't stop talking about this. The Rams have the number 2 and 13 pick, as well as a ton of picks in the first 100. They really don't need Clowney or desperate for a QB (like Cleveland or Jacksonville, say). We both feel the best thing course of action would be to trade the second pick back and drop to #7 or #8 and pick up someone else's #1 next year. Or they could swap #1s this year and pick up a 2nd and 3rd round pick for this year. This is a great year to have 10 picks.

I would trade it for someone's #1this year plus a 3rd &4th or 5th this year or package a deal with next years #1and multiple picks this year.

I've heard rumors of a trade for Jimmy Graham. Don't really know/think that is going to happen.

If it were for a true #1 guy, they would

You still draft Clowney if he falls to you. Otherwise, Robinson is the pick.
Pretty easy.

With Quinn and Long they don't need him, both of those guys are young and very productive. Who would Clowney replace in that situation?
Quinn who has 34.5 sacks over 3 years
Long who has 33 sacks over 3 years
Pass rush from the ends isn't an issue in St. Louis

1) you can't ever have enough pass rushers or defensive lineman, especially in the NFL.
2) the new CBA allows for you to do this -- if you had to sign Clowney to a JaMarcus Russell type contract, then it definitely would be difficult.
3) I don't pass on someone who is as talented as Clowney -- I'll hear an argument on Robinson, but my mind is made up on Clowney.
