My first born child is due may 3rd. My girlfriend tells me I'm too old to play games. What's the average age of the gaming board?
29 my son is due the 1st. I own a PS4,XBONE and PC
My gf will just have to deal with it. Better than me going out to the bars and clubs having skanks hang all over me all the time.

I'm 43 & game on a gaming PC, 360 & PS4.
My fiance also plays and enjoys the Wiiu & PS4.
It's nice to have a GF play games along side me rather than bicker about me playing so she can use the TV for dumb crap on TV women enjoy (bickering bitches of atlanta etc etc)
Have you tried getting her to play a bit? maybe rent a WiiU one weekend with a few of the mario games on it and try to entice her to play. It's easier to get her to accept your hobby if you invite her to the party rather than make her feel excluded with games aimed at the bros. maybe Rayman even?

26 and I'd still game everyday if I could. My wife would have zero problem with it but I don't seem to have much time anymore since we had a kid two months ago. I bought a 3DS a while back and have been putting a lot of time on that though. It's convenient.

Tell her she's too old to be obsessing over Facebook every damn day
I've used "I'll sell my Xbox when you delete your facebook" on those rare days she is pissy and decides it's time to pick a fight (to be fair, 98% of the time she's cool about it).
31, my son just turned 2. The only way my game-time has suffered since he arrived has been no more daytime sessions on the weekends, unless it's during his naptime.

You should give up console gaming since its a child's toy.
PC Gaming is for adults.

my old supervisor would just stick his 7 year old in front of the tv with the xbox or ps and let him play COD

Nothing wrong with gaming at any age. It's a hobby just like anything else. As long as you keep it balanced...just like anything else.
If you sit in front of a monitor playing video games 3 hours every day and 12 hours a day on weekends...might be time to find other things to do.

You're not too old but with a baby on the way maybe you should dial it back a tad.

There's no maybe about it. He will dial it back unless his fetish is unrest in the household.

I'm 28, and married. I actually didn't game until I got married almost 6 years ago and couldn't go out to bars every night. My wife doesn't give a frick as long as I don't binge drink every night. I used to work 40 hours and game 40 hours a week. Now I've went back to school and gaming has been put on the back burner, except for around 1-2 hours a day.

This is how I got over it fast: the day I turned 30, I told myself I was only a day older than when I was 29. Then I went home and gamed.

The fact that we haven't seen a new thread from him today makes me wonder if he's ok.
