Do you guys understand why people like me hate religion. Religious people use their faith as a way to meddle in the lives of others. This is just another example of it.

Yeah, it sucks when people meddle excessively in the lives of others and try to decide what's best for society as a whole as though they have any idea.

I understand this frustration and I support it. It's a cherry on top reason why I left the GOP.
I'm christian and I can't wait for the time where the religious section of America doesn't have much political clout but instead they have a gov't who rejects their pleas of legislated morality to subject the citizenry to but will still fight tooth and nail to protect their religious freedom and private property rights for any business they own against groups who seek to impose their own brand of morality.
