This whole repeal thing was stated because the Baton Rouge Sheriff's Department tried to mess with some gay guys by running a sting operation trying to get them the agree to consensual anal sex in a private setting and then the DA's office refusing to prosecute even though the police arrested and booked them.
The BR Metro Council and now the state legislature has failed to repeal it. Thanks Tony Perkins

None of the supporters of the law can even make a legit argument against it. LFF only lies and talks about the "message" it will send.
How, in 2014, a state government can fail to repeal portions of a bill that ban private, consensual sexual acts between straight adults who aren't related is beyond me.
