re: With the Heat's loss tonight, the Pacers have clinched the tiebreaker over Miami

If Pero can stay healthy, the Hawks could easily get past the Pacers if they stay a head case. Some forget that we were rolling in the 3 seed even without Horford until Pero got hurt around the all star break. Miami can frick off though. I can barely count on one hand the amount of h2h wins we've been royally skullfricked out of by the refs the past two years. We always play them well and would probably take two, but come up short as usual.
The 1 seed is going to have an exponentially tougher road than the 2. Compare the Bobcats and Hawks schedules down the road. With Teague and Lou both at the high points of their season, there is no comparison between the two. The 2nd round is just as obvious.

Good job, good effort Miami.

I know that getting the 2 seed means the Heat will dodge the Nets in the 2nd round, but I have no idea why anyone would prefer the Bulls to the Nets.
They won't lose the series, but they will get beat the mother frick up for 5-6 games and limp into Indiana (or Brooklyn) without home-court.
That is not ideal for them, IMO.

CHI is the lEast's version of MEM, tbh.

Heat aren't worried about the Bulls.

I agree, lot of similarities there.
Miami's title chances rest on the health of Dwayne Wade - putting him through 10-14 games of Bulls and Pacers bar fight style basketball seems like a bad thing to me.

No one's saying the Bulls would beat MIA in a series.
But we are saying that such a series would take a toll on the Heat physically.

Heat would sweep the Bulls without DWade.

A better Heat team didn't sweep a worse Bulls team last year

A Bulls-Heat series would go 7 games with everyone healthy on both rosters right now, except DWade (obviously DRose is out).

You want to talk basketball, let's talk basketball.
You want to be a Heat fanboy, we have nothing more to talk about.
