Wildlife officials in Idaho will kill 4000 ravens

to help with saving the Sage Grouse because, they say, “We can’t directly say that (sage grouse population decline) is from ravens, because we don’t have that information.” ????
Idaho ranchers, whose livestock grazing seems to be the main culprit in reducing the habitat cover that the sage grouse needs to reproduce, are, of course, all in favor of the mass kill of the ravens.
In the meantime, though, hunters (i.e. those same ranchers) have killed 2300 sage grouse annually. Jared Brackett, rancher and president of the Idaho Cattle Association, defends the annual state hunt of the Sage Grouse because it's "part of the management of the bird”.
This is fricked up
After the past week, I'm beginning to think all ranchers are fricked up in the head.

how is it any different from killing insects that ruin your crops?

It is indicative of every action government takes.

Your link lists invasive plants, infrastructure, and fire as the sage grouse' top three threats, and this report came from BLM (Bureau of land Management) . After this last week It seems they're the ones fricked up in the head, not the ranchers.

Farmers don't destroy the habitat of their crops while blaming insects.
And, according to the article, those wildlife officials can't directly say that sage grouse population decline is from ravens, nor can they say that killing the ravens will have a lasting impact.

Ravens are among the most intelligent creatures on earth... on a par, say some researchers, with chimpanzees.

The BLM didn't willfully kill 2000 desert tortoises, liar.

When did you become a militant vegan and hate meat eaters?

And yet they'll be undone by the same trick we use to trick dogs into taking pills.
Still dont care.
