I don't see that happening everyday and I'm not going to make a kid starve

I'm leaning towards saying no and just giving the nanny a bit of a bump in pay to compensate

do you know the parents of this other child?

if not, how can you make such a claim? lots of mooches out there.

you're going to do it anyway. might as well make it a negotiation. you are doing something nice for her, so she needs to do something nice for you

That is the best idea...throw her a little extra if you can afford it and explain to her about liability issues.

For $600/month you could pay for a good licensed daycare. Not sure why you feel obligated to pay your nanny more.
