"Maintenance man" breaks into Bourbon Street Cowboy's safe and steals 500k

A maintenance employee at a Bourbon Street bar stole more than $500,000 out of a safe in the bar's office, New Orleans police said at a news conference on Wednesday.

Vincent Randazzo, 43, was seen on surveillance images stealing the cash from Bourbon Street Cowboy at 241 Bourbon St. around 6 a.m. on March 26, NOPD Lt. Anthony Caprera told reporters. Randazzo was allowed access to the office because of his work.

Police said more arrests could come as they continue trying to track down the rest of the loot.

"Our goal is to run this out as far as we can, and ultimately recover all the property taken from the victim," Caprera said. "That's what we're working toward."
