Still enjoying this tiger baseball skull drag on MSU. Have about 5 lbs of leftover snow crabs from the cooking. Will peel tomorrow, how should I use it for tomorrow night's supper?

crab and corn soup
This is also what I would suggest.

All great ideas. I've been wanting to try a lobster roll. Maybe I should try it using the snow crabs.

You can tell I wasn't at the boil because I would have plowed through any remaining crab.

Yeah you're right. We're spoiled. We cook them often. They're cheaper than crawfish or blue crabs most of the year.

go for crab cakes or a crab salad. Soups get too diluted. You do not want an expensive ingredient to get washed out in a soup.

"leftover snow crabs" does not compute.
Make snowcrab rolls as opposed to the snowkrab rolls that Japanese places serve.

Agreed. Thinkin I will try to make some kind of roll, wrap, or sandwich. Thinkin the crab will flavor the hell out of it. What says the F&DB?
Thanks

We either put them in a Gumbo, Soup or pick the meat and freeze for whatever another time......

This may be a stupid amateur question, but how do you boil Snowcrab ala crawfish? I want to do this soon, but I'm afraid to overcook them since they come already steamed. My guess is bring the seasoned water to boil, cook all fillers, cut the fire and then throw crabs into water to soak for 15 mins. What say you?

You got it Midget, not much to it. Season the water about like you would for a sack of bugs.

Went with crab cakes. Then a few extra friends showed up, so I thawed a pack of crawfish tails and mixed them in. So we made snow crab/crawfish cakes and ate them on a bun with remoulade. Awesome.
