This is our best pitching staff in the past four seasons.

Only statistically, and I doubt that lasts.

Goody was one of the best closers ever at LSU. Joey B may have been out in '12 not sure.

Cotton and bourgeios were definitely legit in 2012; goody as well

Cotton could challenge him for that title.

but yeah I think we know this staff isn't as good.

keep in mind our stats our padded by playing no-one in non conference play.

meaning our hitting stats actually are worse than they look

It is def too early to say who is better but statistically we are 29 games into a season.

However, I am not stupid either.

Grade the Pitching Staff this season:

Aaron Nola - A+
Jared Poche - A (Nothing but upside)
Kyle Bouman - C (Another future starter, anyone know timetable of return?)
Joe Broussard - A
Hunter Devall - B-
Henri Faucheaux - A- (Potential to be better)
Parker Bugg - A-(Upside for this kid is sick)
Alden Cartwright - B
Cody Glenn - D- (Couldn't fool a blind man with one arm)
Zac Person - B (Starter in 2015)
Nate Fury - C-
Kurt McCune - D+ (Shows signs of life here and there, too inconsistent)
Brady Domangue - F (The Kevin Berry of 2014)

Bugg should end up being the closer, imo

i agree, when you're losing/tieing these close games all you need is a little offensive spark, just a little, and magically those games all become close wins

let the whiners whine, we'll get hot and host a regional at least, you can bookmark this post

These seem off. Bouman other than 1 start against the class of the sec so far, has been pretty good, id give him a B comparing him to what we thought we would get.
Faucheux while he has been good, does walk a bunch, id give him a B+.
Cartwright gets an A IMO, not sure what he could have done better really.

True but I still think Nola is better than Gausman and will end up being a better pro.

Gausman has a higher ceiling but NOLA has the command to make it to the show next season.
