I'm so far behind on things. Where do you get audio books and podcast? Are they the same thing? Just put on a cd? I don't have mp3 or anything.

You can buy audiobooks but if you have a smart phone (and a lot of non smartphones) you have an MP3 player and you can download them. Otherwise you can buy audiobooks online. Podcasts are pretty much electronic only
Alternatively download them then burn them to CDs

your local library should have an ebook and audiobook system. sign up for it.
most use Overdrive. You can use an iPod, iPhone, Android, PC Mac, various MP3 players, and usually burn to CD (although I recommend taking a little bit of time to get away from this archaic method).
For podcasts, I've only ever listened on phones and mac/pc. On Android, I use BeyondPod player. It's a little quirky but ultimately easy to use. For iPhone, you just download the Podcast app. on macs/PCs just use iTunes store (they're free though--at least the ones I listen to).
You'll need to research online to see what interests you, and then search for the podcast names you want. You search for them in the store and then they show up under Podcasts.
NPR and affiliates have a ton. But I recommend a healthy dose of No Agenda as a mainstay--then again, i may have an agenda.
iTunes U is a good source too. Also a lot of universities have online materials.
And someone above mentioned Coursera. I've never used. Checking out now!
Again though, figure out a way to get away from CDs--pain in the arse and will just hinder your listening and learning!
