No it doesn't but if your dead what good does it do you. Like I said if you fire off that many rounds you should have enough from the dead people to replenish your stash of ammo. If their ammo doesn't fit your weapon you have theirs to use. So why do you need 10,000 rounds of ammo.

So you are going to keep several different weapons on you, none of which you have experience with? You also wouldn't know what condition the weapon is in. I wouldn't want to put my life in the hands of some random persons gun that may or may not be well cared for.

Wouldn't it make more sense to have ammo for a weapon that you know is well maintained and that you are familiar with.

I don't keep anywhere near 10k rounds, but it's better to have too much than not enough, and that is true for more than ammo.
