Brewed an Old Peculier extract clone last night.

Here's the recipe from, Homebrew Favorites. I substituted Steen's Molassas for the Treacle.

Okay....not to be one of those guys but you do know that there is like a massive homebrew thread five posts down and a recipe thread that is stickied at the top correct?

Sorry I try not to be a dick but sometimes I can't help myself. Regardless, how did the brew day/evening turn out?

Good substitute IMO, I've brewed the same recipe once with Treacle and once w/ molasses and couldn't taste the difference.

Molasses was much cheaper and I could buy it at the store.

I have never heard of Edme yeast? Is that just a run of the mill English yeast?

I wouldn't follow that fermentation schedule.

Yeah... I didn't know what it was. Neither did Keith @ LA Homebrew. I think the book was printed a while back. I found out on msg boards that Fermentis S-33 is the same strain available in the US so that's what I used.
