Yea it will definitely be a huge transition from Texas haha.

I'm 28 right now, and I'm not saying I'm past the blacking out stage, but I also wish I could have stuff to "do" instead of just drinking all the time.

Somewhere with nonstop activities sounds incredible.

I've never been , but if it's as cool as I've heard, go for it. You definitely need to branch out from day (and night) drinking. That shite's boring. Go skiing, fishing, backpacking, white water rafting..hell I just looked at a map, it's like 2 hours from Yellowstone park..people travel from all over the world to go there!

Winters aren't that bad, plus there are outdoor things to do that time of year. It's a hell of a lot better than a Chicago winter.

you can drink and still do all of those activities. For a two year gig I'd be gone.
