I don't think our points are different.

Evans is expected to turn the ball over more often considering he attacks the basket at a absurdly high rate. Holiday doesn't attack the basket much.
The majority of Holiday's turnovers are usually due to carelessness that can easily corrected if he work on those poor habits of his. This is the thing that irks me the most about him since we had the pleasure of watching Paul all these years. Those jump passes, lazy passes, and overall carelessness of the ball needs to be controlled.

I agree.
I just don't think Holiday is cut out to play pg (on offense) the way Paul and even Vasquez did here. He just isn't a great decision maker in the half court.
He's still good and useful, but I would rather see him off ball more. A skilled player in a D and 3 pg role

I see the events on the court you are talking about. I feel like Holiday was getting better in those respects for two reasons: time on the team, learning that he does not have to constantly cater to Gordon.
I could be 100% wrong, of course, but next season will be telling.

Yeah. I almost added "but it was a small sample size with a new cast. There is hope for improvement"

Holiday does something that Evans can't. He can run an offense and get the team into their sets and do it in a hurry. Evans is all about the P&R and attacking. He should never be a guy who is asked to run an offense. It's not in his mentality and it's not his game. He's basically everything Jrue is weak at and vice-versa. They are a perfect match and I'm excited to see them play side by side for the years to come.
Remember the Portland game in December where Holiday and Evans went crazy. It still leaves me salivating thinking about their potential together. The game was a glimpse into what we'd look like without Gordon being in the way.
