Has he not made a play every time he has had to? Serious question bro.

Lol go watch true freshman Shane Morris against Kansas St in their bowl game.

24/38 198 yards 1 int and a 40 yard run. Nobody is saying OMG we are going to look like shite next year passing if he plays, some retards actually want him over Gardner. The LSU fanbase is so fickle, it's ridiculous. Dude comes off the bench cold and delivers a 99 yard drive with touch passing. Not against Northwest Alabama St Academy, but an actual SEC team. Yet all that seems forgotten because he played bad against Iowa. I'll reserve judgement til how he plays in the Spring game, then he still has all offseason and Fall camp.

I don't get why Rettig would get passed over for his lesser running ability now that Cam is in charge...

What about all the previous year's reports that he was very accurate and earning the praise of the staff for his play in last years practices and scrimmages????

My thoughts as well. The reports on AJ were mostly positive last year. Now, they're mostly negative. If Crowton was still on staff, he would be getting flak to no end about how the QB is regressing.

Don't bash the guy for having a below average first start.

Completely agree. And in a bowl game on top of that.

you can't put too much stock into the spring game, this year. the WR's are pretty beat up right now, so he may be throwing to at least one walk on.

I could be wrong, but diarse is the only wr that hasn't missed time this spring.

Does anyone else think that AJ's delivery could be part of his issues? He has a funny throwing motion not sure how he gets the velocity he does on his throws with that delivery.

If only we had a QB that could complete a pass! Opposing teams will play us with nine in the box because of our in ability to pass.

Does BH share these characteristics? I've wondered about this because I seriously have no idea. What about Rettig as far as these sorta things are concerned?

I can answer that...yes he does.

You realize the coaching staff sends people to ensure the players go to class, especially freshman. They get punished if they don't go.

It's not saying he sucks, it's saying look what happens when a decent team KNOWS he's the starter and prepares for his style play.

His job will get harder the more film is available on his tendencies.

Man, you're so full of shite. No one cares that you've been to practices FWIW (which I doubt you actually have).

I want Rettig at this point. i'm already sick about what's obviously going to happen.

JJ v2.0

Rettig has looked good in the passing drills. sad he won't get an opportunity. hopefully he leaves and has success elsewhere.

It may yet happen....nobody knows....he could blow up between now and first game. I agree with you in the sense that if he is the best man for the job, then he should start.
