Shark looked like a baby what a pussy

I was surprised the shark kept after him even after he dropped his catch. He held those lion fish longer than I would've. I'd of probably let him have 'em as soon as I saw him. I figure my video would have a lot more brown in the water too.

That was really fricking eerie, watching him come back pass after pass. Initially I thought it was a relatively weak encounter, but holy shite. It may be a small shark, but a bobcat isn't huge either, I'd still be shiting my pants though if one took issue with me in the wild and kept coming back on me again and again.

Crazy video. I would have probably shot upwards and killed myself from the decompression (if that's possible at that depth).

Guess he looked like a seal or whatever sharks of the Caribbean eat, just not humans though since they aren't man eaters
Pretty cool how much that guy kept in control though. I probably would have been walking on top of the water

Haha yeah, ballsy lil guy.
Looking at the diver like wow what a buffet that would be.
Same thing happened here yesterday in Honolulu, guy was like 350 yards off Waikiki beach diving and a 8 foot reef shark (I believe) was trying to get at him.

He's lucky there was only one shark.....that could have gotten ugly for that guy had there been more

Scruffy has done that shite before, but without scuba gear.
Staring down a shark is fricking scary as hell, no matter how big they are.
Makes you want to piss yourself.

That is his territory. We have no claim to that place.

Shark got the lionfish = winning.

Didn't look very deep, so probalby wouldn't get bent. You can definitely give yourself an embolism in shallow water, though.

No thank you....good thing he had something to fend him off

Do people eat lion fish?

yeah, people eat them. I've never eaten them, but they are supposed to be pretty good.

I'd suggest he get a dive buddy armed with a bang stick to accompany him on future dives.

but they are aggressively invasive. destroying a good percentage of life on a reef. so shooting and leaving them dead on the seafloor is not frowned upon

That will raise the pucker factor.
