I live in St. Charles parish right now, is it worth the drive? I've heard its a really nice course and been wanting to play it. I am off some days during the week, wondering if its worth the trip. THANKS!

I haven't played there in 4-5 years, but it's a fun course. From what I remember it's 2 totally different sides. The front is long and wide open. The back is short with a lot of hazards.

I'd put Atchafalaya up there with Carter Plantation and The Bluffs. They also have a very nice clubhouse with great food.

Enjoy it every time I play it... Save room and time to eat in the club house...food is very good.

This makes all the difference to me for some golf courses. Can't stand when I show up to a golf course and the staff acts like I'm inconveniencing them.
Atchafalaya is on my list for my next Louisiana golf trip.

This is my favorite course at the moment. Very challenging and loooooong if you are brave enough to play the tips. It's a fair course and most tee shots have wide open landing areas. The par 3's are monsters with 2 of them usually playing between 220-250. Greens are always in really good shape.
Go play it
Go play it

Just an excuse to come back down.
Drive home wasn't bad at all, so I'll make a long weekend trip down sometime. Atch, Copper Mill, Carter Plantation, Lakewood, and TPC are still left on my list.

Goat track. Easily reached all the par 5s in two.

The Monday and Tuesday deals are great. I still haven't been able to play it but have seen it and have to get over there. I live in Hahnville and would make that drive any day.
