Question for those who have used Black Lapel

I signed up for this a bit ago and haven't bought anything up to this point. I am getting ready to, so I did the measurements they ask for. I got the wife to do them, so I assume they are not as accurate as they would be had a professional did them.
For those of you who got someone you know to do the measurements (as instructed on the site), were they accurate enough to not require any alterations? The fact that they get so many different measurements makes me nervous that if the way each part of the leg, for example, were measured just slightly different (two fingers snug on the thigh vs. maybe 1.5 fingers at the waist), that it could throw the whole thing off.
Also, how is the quality of the actual product and the custom sizing? Are you happy with this service?

They don't offer you any guarantees
The site I went through offered up to $75 for you to take it to a tailor on their cost and of the alterations were more than that they would make you an entirely new suit or tux at their cost

Made me nervous as frick. Had SO do measurements but ended up going to a tailor after the concierge doubted some. I could not be more happy with the suit. It came out the box absolutely perfect.

This kind of goes against my Alpha image, but alas, they don't even make suits my size at the 'Big/Tall' type places.
But I can say Alpha move would have been going to suit place and having them professionally measure you, then not buying the suit....

Any update? Have you gotten the suit in yet? I am ready to make a move and I'm deciding between: Black Lapel, Knot Standard, or Dragon Inside.
