MJ came along at the perfect time. Nike and ESPN did everything they could to magnify MJ's accomplishments while downplaying all of his teammates. Pippen would be the 3rd best player in today's league and with his defense would be challenging Durant for 2nd best.
Imagine Lebron, Paul George, Joakim Noah, and a player like Chandler Parsons coming off the bench. Add to that the best coach in the NBA in Phil Jackson and that is what Michael had.

Yeah. I just ignored this thread because it's obvious troll bait.
Lebron ran to form a super team of consisting of 3 of the top 4 players in the NBA per this board's precious PER and then begged to have another HOF'er on his team in Ray Allen.
Jordan also won with multiple HoF'ers and some of the best (actually THE best) 3 point shooters in history among other All-Stars
Horace Grant = All Star PF/C
BJ Armstrong = All Star and and all time top 10 NBA three point shooter
Scottie Pippen = All star/HOF material, one of the best ever
Dennis Rodman = All star/HOF Material, one of the best rebounders, defenders ever
Kukoc = 6th man of the year, best euro at the time and a 6'10 forward
Kerr = Best three point shooter in the NBA at the time (5 time champion) and most accurate three point shooter in NBA history
Harper = A 20 ppg scorer coming off the bench in his prime
In summation, considering the willful/lazy ignorance of almost every post in this thread - I saw trolls and laughed at the attempt.
Is Kobe the only player to win championships without multiple HoF'ers and/or prime All-Stars on his team of THE BIG THREE?
Yes

Jordan, at 32, was in his 11th season and had 2 other Hall of famer's and perenial all-stars who are also considered two of the best defensive players of all time on his team in Pippen (arguably one of the best all-around players of all time, the first point forward who ran the offense and defense and 6 time champion) and Rodman (arguably the best rebounder of all-time and a 5 time champion), Europe's best player at the time and 6th man of the year (who became a 19/7/5 guy post 30 after Jordan) in Kukoc (3 time champion), a career 20 ppg scorer and a great defensive player in his prime coming of the bench in Ron Harper (5 time champion who people ALWAYS forget about), and the NBA's best 3 point shooter in Steve Kerr (5 time champion). And everyone of these guys brought it every game. Three of these teammates alone had 6 championships under their belts outside of these Bulls (compared to Kobe's teammates who have ZERO outside the Lakers) and these players had 24 championships total when their careers were over. That team was also stacked and dominated in an immediate post expansion era. It would have been alot easier to "will" that team to win. Kinda like Pete Myers almost "willed" the 93-94 Bulls to the finals.

Invalid argument.
I'm talking about a big man in the paint like Shaq, Bynum. Their presence is more effective than anyone else LJ or MJ was surrounded with.

Yeah...this is my only bite. You keep bringing up Bynum? Who didn't even play in Kobe's fourth Championship run and barely played in his fifth - less effective than any of MJ's big men stats wise.
You brought up Gasol who was really a power forward playing out of position.
If Pau Gasol, a skinny 7'0 power forward, equals a BIG man then so does
A 6'10 power forward in Chris Bosh
A 6'10 power forward in Toni Kukoc
A 6'10 power forward in Horace Grant

Kobe also wasn't the best player on his team for three of those championships. That can't be said for MJ or LeBron.

You posted the names in the wrong order.
Shaq won 3 rings with a kobe sidekick not kobe won rings with "some big man"

Kobe is behind Lebron and MJ..
Order goes
1. Lebron
2. MJ
3. Kobe
The Bulls were 2 games worse the year after MJ came back. While the Cavs were 42 games worse when Lebron left. Lebron's "quit game" was 27 pts, 19 rebs, and like 10 assists.
