audible, owned by amazon, is offering 2 free audiobooks for anyone signing up for a 30 day membership. anyone with a long commute like me that gets sick of listening to music/sports radio, not a bad deal.

Also, check out Daniel Murphy. He puts out a blog and suggests a book every month to read with a description. Might find it useful.

This.
I've listened to 60+ audiobooks from Audible in the last 2-3 years. I travel a lot and listening to a book while flying is great for me. Its a monthly subscription so it motivates me to always buy new books since I've committed to pay for it.
