Did this on two acres. Don't put the wire too deep it will lose some power.
Also if you are concerned about someone stepping on your property and getting bit, how will the invisible fence help?

Actually what I meant is if they start coming towards the edge of the property but they are still on the road. My dog may perceive that as a threat and bite them. It technically wont be seen as them on my property.

It will help him legally. CYA b/c the perp is not going to admit stepping onto your property. He's going to say that the dog left the yard and came after him
