You know I would take this comment from Obama as purely vote buying if it didnt seem like we are so taken snack and unprepared for this. I expect the general voters to not have the foresight to recognize the true powers of china Russia Iran vs the immediate al Qaeda but for the president??
And to top it all off rather than respectfully disagreeing he's a damn smug a-hole about it.

So it is now the rights contention that Russia is more of an immediate threat to the United States than Al-Queda is?
Al-Qaeda can kill 3,000 Americans at most in one go...and they could only do that once.
Russia can kill 150 million Americans in one go.
3,000 vs. 150 million. Who do you think is the greater threat?
Posted on 3/4/14 at 7:11 pm to RollTide1987
Ability to kill 150 Million American people X .0000000000001 (The probability that Russia launches a nuclear warhead(s) at the United States) = .0015% chance
Ability to kill 1 American X 1 (Probability that Al-Queda starts an attack on a American)
= 100%
Al-Queda is the bigger threat if you use the insane hypothesis that Russia is willing to launch nukes at the US.
I don't know why I bother responding to your 4th grade history class posts.![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/icons/casty.gif)

Anyone who is an enemy of the United States is a threat. Anyone with nukes who is an enemy of the United States is an even bigger threat. As long as they have them the possibility is there for nuclear war. It's common sense and elementary logic.
Al-Qaeda doesn't scare me as much as Russia because, so far as we know, Al-Qaeda does not have a nuclear weapon nor a means to get it to the United States.

I'll take random, made up numbers in lieu of an actual debate for $1000, Alex.

Unless Al-Qaeda receives some help, no one actually knows if all of the Russian nuclear material, or tactical nukes are accounted for. There are still a lot of hungry Russian nuclear scientist that will work with anyone for a price. As for delivery to the U.S., put it on a freighter, sail it into a U.S. Port city and set it off before DHS or NEST ever gets a whiff of it.

It was a gross generalization to prove a point FWIW.
This guy is a clown show. He contradicts his most recent post with his previous posts, and brings in 4th grade history as reference.
Anyway, carry on.

The only reason Barack Obama cares about what's happening in the Ukraine is because of the public ridicule at home.
Europe is too afraid of Putin, and Obama doesn't care what happens to the Ukrainian people. So Putin will stay in the Ukraine.
I'm repeating myself, but here it goes.
Obama's got no problem with a substantially reduced American presence in the world. He wants the Defense $$ to spend on buying votes at home.
He is either, A)Too Stupid to realize that someone else will step in to fill the power vacuum, and that country will very likely be an enemy of the US, or B)Knows it, but doesn't care.
I'm going with B.

Remember in '08, Obama was viewed as lacking in foreign policy experience? So he picked JOE FLIPPIN BIDEN as his running mate?
The media sold it. The dumbass electorate bought it. The world is paying for it.
Biden, the same guy who said, who cares if Iran gets a nuke, they don't have a rocket. What are they going to use.
I just could not believe how stupid that comment was, and the non reaction to it.
Russia just shot off some ICBM's the other day, and N.Korea been working on that, does Biden really think Iran can't either buy the tech, or the missiles themselves. Is he really that stupid? Anyone who voted for the pair is apparently, but is he really that dumb?

Derp
But let's be honest. This presidential crap is just a dog and pony show. These actors don't run the country.

Putin is backing down. Looks like hardly anything will come out of this, except the people of Crimea (who are ethnically Russian) will have more control over their own government.
Republican pundits are gon be pissed.

Be sure to let us know when the government of the Ukraine has control over all of the areas that Putin or his puppets are now controlling.
That will be like never.
