Rented a cabin, taking my two sons and my dishwasher to Lake Guntersville Tuesday thru Friday next week. Never fished/been there. Bringing canoe, maybe canoe and kayak.

Suggestions from any who are familiar are greatly appreciated. And not necessarily just for bass. My boys are 9 & 11. They don't really care what we catch.

Good to see you're keeping her near a kitchen.

Good luck..it's always been hit/miss for me on Big G.

Had lots of luck running trot lines for cats near the dam though.

Also, crappie have been very slow so far, from what I've heard. I've always caught lots of bluegill around Memorial Day. Use crickets around structure. In case you don't want to fish for bass.

You need to eat at a place called Top of the River while you are there. They bring out cornbread, coleslaw, and pickled onions before the meal. Also order the turnip greens. It is a really good place to eat.

Just curious on how your Guntersville trip turned out. Seemed like you had some good weather except for the wind.
