What's the best way to get there with all the parades and traffic?

Making it to the Ritz may be difficult but you can make it to the area within 3 hours. I would stay on 90 the whole way and come into NOLA over the twin spans. If you speed watch out for the cop in Jeanerette on 90.

Just looking at Google Maps, I10 is clear to the CBD. 90 is stacked up at the Wank. Surface streets? LOL good luck. Tulane is smooth through the hood but stacks at the CBD.
