How Much $$$ Do You Spend Each Spring on Fishing Gear?

Me? Not much, the past few years hardly anything.
This year is a totally different story, I got bit by the,"gotta get new stuff", bug couple days ago and looking at pulling the trigger on a few $$$ purchases.
I see myself trying to keep it under 800 bucks this year, but i'll be lucky to keep it under a grand the way things are looking.

Already in 150 so far for 2 new rods.
But I don't anticipate anything else this year.

$200-$300. Unless you count beer then it's bumps up to $17,500.

I left all my stuff in MS last time I was there, so the other night at bass pro I just started grabbing stuff I needed for this weekend.
I near about stroked out when the total came up, and I didn't even get a top notch reel or rod. I'll learn to remember to grab my shite eventually.

I spent $53 at TW a few weeks ago, $50 at Pro Bass, and $50 at Academy (all gift cards from Christmas), $12 at Bacons Tackle and $75 on a used Kistler rod.
I am waiting on the bill to come back and to receive my reels from cleaning and getting ceramic bearings (est $100, I hope)

if they are of descent quality, it sounds like a great buy

Usually not a whole lot, dropped a few hundred already this year, new charger, got my prop worked. About to pull the trigger on a hds bundle so this year will be a lot.

Do yall use Medium power rods pretty frequently in the salty water?
ETA: Serious question. Trying to get at least 1 dedicated inshore setup.

Not much cause I buy year round, but the fuel bill is about to jump seriously.

No boat, so I bank fish most of the time. I still like medium rods better for anything though because I can feel the bites better. MH for reds

Probably no more than $100. Haven't spent any yet.

Found 4 Calais reels in dad's shed. Cost 80.00 to get all four cleaned up and I'm taking 2 or 3 rods that he needs repaired as well. Should only be 200 this year for lures and hooks, etc.

About 1500 bucks each spring . Then another 1500 through the year in tackle . It goes way up if I have to buy batteries. And I'm about to invest in a hds touch and hds 7 . So it's about to take a major jump

I noticed this too and I hate them for fresh water unless I'm cranking.
ETA: have some twins, start a business on the side and go back for a masters. You will quit spending money on fishing, I promise
