For the record, I bought an elite in the first 6 months they were out, it got RRoD, Microsoft fixed it for me, and it still works. I've had it for around 7 years.

You say cheap, I say smart with his money. If you buy a system you should be able to play any game that comes out for it. It's never a smart idea for a company to split the user base.
