Mid-Late 90's WCW was the greatest era for professional wrestling

I read that WWE has launched their own network which apparently has gotten a ton of subscribers.

I was really surprised, I thought the glory years of wrestling were gone.

I used to hate the nWo with such a passion. It was riveting television. I almost cried when Lex Luger beat Hogan in 1997, only to lose the title back to him a few weeks later at Road Wild.

There's a bunch of middle age weirdos that still follow it.

It was cool until I started to go out and hangout with girls

It was pretty clever what WCW did, but they got too greedy and all the celebrity involvement was too much. Sorry, but Jay Leno should never be in a wrestling ring.

The documentary on Netflix was really good.

Well, yeah

Back then, it was so good though. Kids don't watch it now, so it concerns me that this is still a viable industry.

I agree.

I'd probably be one of those middle-aged weirdos that still keep up with it if WWF had not bought out WCW.

I completely lost interest when that happened.

I still play Goldberg's intro music when I take dumps and they are glorious.

Jay Leno and Rodman hated each other.

Very early WCW had some very un-PC promos.

As much as I loved the Wolfpack, truth be told, it started its decline then.

I hated the nWo, but the Wolfpack were likable bad guys....it was too much

I had a friend that was a big nWo fan, he wore the shirt all the time. It would piss me off so much.

I was a HUGE WCW fan when I was 8 or 9 years old. Something made me remember this a week or two ago, so I bought a NWO Hollywood t-shirt. God, NWO Hollywood vs NWO Wolf Pack was epic.

When I was in 10th grade, we had a huge Nitro Party to try to win some prize.

We didn't win, tho

A bunch of my friends bought the nWo t-shirts when they came through Dothan one year in high school. I had to be different. Went with the Diamond Dallas Page one. Diamond cutter ftw.
