If we don't trade for EGKnee, we're probably talking about building around Bledsoe and Harrison Barnes instead of Anthony Davis. I do wonder how much of an influence Stern had in resigning Gordon, we supposedly didn't even pick up the phone to consider trades, but resigning Gordon was the disaster, trading for him was a huge success.

More interesting question, what if that Lakers trade actually went through? We get Cracked out Lamar Odom, Scola, KMart, & Dragic. Once Odom refused to play, that is still a pretty bad western team at the time (Dragic was not very good at that point)... I wonder if we might still get AD in the draft (perhaps out of pity for losing Lamar.

Team might have looked like Dragic/K-Mart/______/AD/Lopez
