Why attempt to fight for a spot with everyone else? Put in a little extra effort and have something at your place, take her out during the weekend, or next week even. Not worth the trouble IMO, plus it'll look way better on you if you go a little ways extra.
Having said that, I think TOP'S is having a shindig tomorrow night so you could always go grind, drink, fight and make up

We are actually going out to eat Friday
But...I'm not always off on Vday so I'm taking advantage of it. Bought tickets already for Ipic theater(really nice upscale theater) and made reservations at the restaurant next door(it's also part of Ipic but supposed to be a nice restaurant).

One place I would NOT recommend is Ruffino's ! Last 2 times I have gone eat there the food was horrible!

Why do some of you insist on going out for Valentine's Day to be at an overcrowded restaurant and pay for an overpriced "special" menu? If you really want to take the lady out for dinner just wait until Saturday.
