Not terrible in terms of wins/losses or postseason apperances, but more on the lines of coaches who constantly underachieve and do less with more, not getting the most out of their players. Coaches who if they were any good at coaching, would do far better than what they have done.

Mine:

Scott Drew
Travis Ford
Mark Gottfried
Leonard Hamilton

Rick Barnes is a good one. As is Jamie Dixon.

Are you saying that because you think Quinn Snyder has some redeeming qualities?

John Brady - but I assume he has his own separate temple like the Mormons.

Jamie Dixon is a good choice, all that talent for all these years and no Final Fours

Tom Crean as well, that team he had last year was too good not to go to the Final Four at least. He did make the Final 4 but had 2 NBA players on that Marquette team Dwayne Wade and Steve Novak

Rick Barnes, I was a critic but he has proved me wrong this year, they were supposed to have another down year

It's pretty funny that he keeps calling out other coaches but defends Trent.

All of these guys have had some success though, including Trent.

A guy like Doh! is so bad that he has no accomplishments to speak of. I am trying to figure out if there is anyone else on his level.

Current Coaches, 5 spots for the LeBron Mount Rushmore:

Mike Bray - Notre Dame
Jay Wright - Villanova
Jaime Dixon - Pittsburgh
John Thompson III - Georgetown
Rick Barnes - Texas

I only defend Trent Johnson's tenure at TCU. I do agree he underachieved at Stanford/LSU based on his rosters.

But calling him a bad coach because of how TCU has done the past 2 years is silly based on the hand he was dealt and has been dealt. Watch the TCU-Baylor game tonight on ESPNU and you will see a bunch of players for TCU in white polos on the end of the bench. Depleted roster

It would be like calling Rick Ray for Mississippi State a terrible coach based on his 2 seasons so far there after Stansbury's departure wrecked the program

The old Big East sure could waste some players.

He made statements at LSU that he preferred to only have about 10 guys on scholarship because he couldn't coach more than that. He had depleted rosters here too. That's not just the hand he's dealt, it's the one he chooses to play.

I'm actually angry at myself that I forgot Crean. A blowhard egomaniacal arse who somehow pulls the wool over everyone's eyes, all the while underperforming.

Though his players do get rings for Sweet Sixteen runs and get to cut down the nets after a regular season finale loss at home.
