Nope. Polished too much as a child so did not want to deal with that as an adult.

My wife has hers, her mother's old set, and her aunt's old set.

I think we've used them exactly twice.

Mrs Cove does. I don't think we've eaten with it more than 4-5 times though. It tarnishes like a murf.

ETA: Lavish has goldware. Fact.

Never had one meal using the silver. I'm going to try to go my entire life eating off the minion utensils.

I just have a draw full of plastic sporks. Herion junkies stole all my good stuff.

I have some that my grandmother left me. It's tarnished pretty bad and I just haven't had the energy to polish.

My dad and his wife had a bunch of nice silver that I was supposed to inherit, but Gypsies broke into their house and stole it all. True story.

If she hasn't pawned the set I gave her, she still has some.

An antique collector friend once told me that finding where the outhouse was located on the grounds of old plantations could yield old silverware in a dig. The help dumped it into the outhouse before the North could get it prior to burning down the place.

I inherited a silver tea service from my grandmother. If I ever want to serve tea, I'm set.
