Looking to get a good sound bar for my tv in the next few months. What brands are the best? Don't want the most expensive. I'm not an OT baller yet. More of the middle of the road cost.

TIA

Sony makes a decent one for $199, it is in a hexa or octagon shape.

Save yourself the time and money and spend about $400 more to grab a Sonos. After you can start adding to get the whole home connected.

Vizio's S4251W

Or

Sony HT-CT260

Were the top two reviewed(for budget) I saw when i was looking into this. I ended up going with the vizio because I got it for around $190 on black Friday.

Bose Solo

about 400 bucks but sounds pretty good for what it is. That said, I wouldn't own a sound bar. I have a pair of these in my bedroom and they sound great for music and movies:

I just bought a new one after getting rid of my Sony htct550. I got the pioneer sp-sb23w. A production from the design of Andrew Jones. Very well made and crisp sound. Look it up and read about Jones and his design.

Look at cnet. For the love of god everyone will be naming their brands on here since that's all they know. Go to Cnet. See that they had 10 + sound bars to also base their reviews on, and buy what's best reviewed on there.

And oh yeah, put together a real system. Sound bars still can't compare

But if you must get the vizio 5.1 "wireless" which has the 2 rear speakers wired to the sub
