Alright so I know it's a long time away but in March and then in April, the two best teams of the East as of now play each other. Who will win?

Heat.
Hibbert will continue to get in foul trouble against the Heat.

I think the Pacers are better, but that doesn't necessarily mean they'll win.
They'll be a lot of pressure on Indiana to get over the hump.

I know they've been skating on thin ice these past 3 years but I've gotta say Miami until someone stops them.
1. This is the first year that the Pacers are FOR SURE a threat. We all knew they'd get here(I know they could have won last year) but this year they are no joke and the Heat know it. I see the Heat treating the series differently than in the past and winning in 5.
2. It's annoying but the Heat have another gear that they refuse to show sometimes. I really do believe this. It's sorta a cop-out during the regular season but I think it's real.
3. Wade has been really efficient this year. I know he's got the injury and or fatigue factor but when he's in he's been really good. If they can get him ready for the playoffs he might put together a sold postseason.

I think the heat will win but I really want someone else to win for once

Well, the difference in this series is that they won't have home-court.
So yeah, they're not winning in 5.

In the Finals, or Conference finals?

Maybe a little wishful thinking because I want Lebron to drag his nuts on every team he plays, but I think they'll come out something fierce.
They might even hear people in the media and stuff saying the Pacers are better than them. It's the perfect storm to bury the Pacers.

heat will win in 7 again. bron is the best player on the planet, bosh is playing more freely and looking good, and dwade "who i hate" is looking better than he has in a few years. The heat are better this year than last. I know pacers are too but the heat has too many weapons

Both. Lost 3 years ago. Snuck by last year in the finals. Plus they've had REALLY close series with the Pacers and probably closer series with teams they should have killed.

Disagree, but either way it's not by a lot.

Okay, I am definitely drawing a blank here. Other than the Pacers, I cannot remember a 1st or 2nd round playoff series in the last 3 years that got past 6 games.

I could definitely see the Heat losing. I could also see them "heating" up right before the playoffs and winning it. It will be a great series.

Can't wait for the playoffs, this place is fricking awesome when the Heat play

Everyone just gets caught up in the assumption that the Heat are easily the best team in basketball every year.
The Pacers and Spurs of last year, the Celtics in 2012, the Thunder in 2012... All of those teams were very good teams. Just because they take the Heat deep into a series doesn't mean the Heat are sleepwalking or not "turning it up a gear," it just means the Heat aren't THAT much better than those teams.

I'll look it up. I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure they've been down in a couple series that shouldn't have been close.

Congrats on playing in the Eastern Conference
