I have no shame

A poor job market with a liberal arts degree does not a likely hire make

It will get worse, if the economy doesn't come around.

This stat as a stand alone does not trouble me.

If they are just being prudent and resourceful, working where they can to put aside money, finish school, or pay off debt, then I have no problem with 26 year olds staying home. That's what families are for.

If it coincides with them being lazy, directionless, shiftless mooches, then there is a problem.

I'd guess it's a blend of both, but more the latter than the former.

Fuuuuuuuuuuck, went home first summer after freshman year at LSU...hated it so much i never went back. Summer school after that for 6 straight years, just so i could stay around campus.

My kids never came home after leaving for college either. I don't blame them.

depends on your parents. Mine would have loved for me to stay home and they aren't the bothersome type.
