We'd have to get everybody we wanted and Bama to lose likely the only one they could in Bo Scarbrough, for us to win.

to the OP, no, I don't think its #1 unless Bama loses Scarbough. Would give no shits though.

To get the number 1 class according to the rankings, we'd basically have to get Lorenzo Carter, Adoree Jackson, Malachi Dupree, and Travonte Valentine, AND have Bo Scarbrough flip away from Alabama to Georgia or somebody else. Any one of those things individually could easily end up happening, but for them all to happen is an insane long shot.
Our class is already an elite class, and these recruiting rankings are biased and untrustworthy anyway, so I'm not going to sweat it that we're finishing 3rd or maybe 2nd. The recruiting class that's #1 on national signing day rarely pans out to be the #1 recruiting class 4 years later once you see what everyone is really made of on the field, so it's a silly thing to get worked up over.

Did we sell Adoree on playing both ways? Just curious.

I've been off today and I have read a LOT of websites and college recruiting sources. The sum of all opinions is that Dupre goes to Florida State and Jackson stays in the west coast at SC or UCLA. Just an opinion.

Trojan fans are worried he is going to Florida.

To piggyback on this - Trojans just offered CB Porter from Alabama. They are expected not to sign Adoree or Juju.

"@adamgorney: Let's try this again: According to multiple sources #USC the school in California has not offered Patrick Porter."
