Never been to Costa Rica, but I can say that it really did feel like we were the only people sport fishing in the whole damn country. We had what I considered to be pretty high volume fishing, but those guys talk up 40-50 sailfish days.

As for the female companionship, do NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT pay 250 dollars for anything in Guatemala without laying eyes on it first. No wonder the Mayan civilization tapered off. Woof.
