hopefully they have a bad day wednesday. because their gains are our loss.
Is Mora that attractive of a coach?

UCLA is an attractive school in general. You can't really blame any 18 year old that decides to go to school there honestly. Plus, their football program is on the rise under Mora Jr., and you combine that with the campus and location, it's a deadly combination.

No. I agree. Im just shocked at how big their haul could be Wednesday

Could be painful to watch that's for sure. I still feel like we get Chi, but Kenny Young is UCLA bound it seems. It would be a shocker honestly if he chose LSU and that in itself is crazy.

All of this is true. I still think Dupre is LSU, though.

Haven't sent to many into the nfl. Haven't done anything in the last 2 decades. That area has always been attractive. Why is
Football attractive all of a sudden?

They're the flavor of the week. Last year it was Ole Miss.

They are showing steady improvement under Mora. If he keeps recruiting the way he is then they will be a pretty strong team that competes for the PAC-12 championship and BCS bowls every season. Can't say they aren't improving their attractiveness by winning more games and showing improvement. The only negative to that whole situation for UCLA is if Mora gets offered and NFL job he will bolt in the middle of the night and that's a for sure.

From the outside, UCLA looks more attractive to me than U$C, unless you get a new house to live in, of course.
But, MoraJr likely won't be the coach when these new recruits leave.
The big negative for LA kids going to L.A. is that if things don't pan out with the NFL, Cali, and Southern California in particular, is a crappy area to have to call "home". Yes, I know it is teeming with people and the beach and a 4-hr drive to Vegas. But, there is a reason CA has had a big population exodus in the last 15 years. A Louisiana kid who has a chance to be a Louisiana legend and find gainful employment in BR and NOLA (regardless of where the NFL falls into his plans) is not something to just forget about.

No thank God they were wrong. That was a friend of the st aug coach.

Ucla is too far. He and CG will be a force together where his friends and family can watch on tv and in person every week. I expect Lsu to be the pick in the end along with MD.

I admit, it is all very confussing.

I guess I can kinda understand what you're implying, but it's really unfair to compare those two schools. Ole Miss hasn't been anywhere near as successful as UCLA, and I shouldn't even have to talk about Oxford vs LA.

I believe Dupre stays so his family can go see him in play BR.
It takes a certain combination of factors to get a kid to go so far for school and to play ball. He has to like the coach and the environment a lot IMO to go that far. I personally do not adapt well to the SoCal sunlight. Much brighter there than even the most bright LA day. Sunglasses help but just hard to get used to. I never feel totally settled there even when staying a week. Food is just average and LA is a huge place. A lot of nice places to visit there though. UCLA is in a better location IMO than USC. But what does that do for a Louisiana kid unless he plans to stay?
Just my thoughts.....hope we get all these guys
