I think that just confirms your ignorance on the topic. People from all walks of life use marijauna.

Nothing wrong with it. I would go on to say there is an innate need for every human being to escape reality in one form or another. Many different ways to do this. Dreaming, actual dreams is one form of escape and your mind has to have it.

Reading a book, playing music, building things (all of which I do), are affective at relaxation and filling a void needed to counteract our daily struggles and responsibilities.

Drinking and smoking is no different. We could go as far as: "what is the point of life". Not even touching that one.
